Happy 4th!
Happy Independence Day!
…or as I like to call it “Blow Shit Up Day!!!!”
Well, as many of you know, the fourth of July is my favorite holiday. So happy 4th of July!
I finished up my project yesterday. I’m going to put together a full length photo blog and description of the yet to be named mortar rack. I plan on doing a test run, which I’ll tape (just in case the thing blows to pieces.) I doubt it will, but due to some unforseen difficulties, the holes didn’t get drilled as deep as the instructions said. In short, I used a lot of liquid nails. See the entry in a couple days for more information.
Today I went out to some relatives for a family reunion. It was friggin hot, but fun. I took Gaby fishing. She loved it. I even caught a catfish and a couple crappie, although I didn’t keep any of them.
Gaby loves fireworks and is looking forward to tomorrow. We finally got her to bed. It’s 12:24 am now. She loved the snappers, of course. “I did it!” she shouts. This year is going to be a good one as long as the rain stays away. Either way, I’ll be blowing crap up.
