I don’t mind flying, but it sucks when you’re running late. It sucks even more when you have a flat tire on the way to the airport. That’s right, it happened. There was a load of debris near the turnpike toll booth, and I caught a nail in my tire. I remember hearing a popping sound sometime after I exited the toll booth. About two miles later I noticed the cars steering wheel was wobbling a little. Odd I thought. A few minutes later I determined that something was wrong. I started to smell burning rubber. I was even more disappointed when the car following me didn’t even flash their brights or anything to get my attention that something was wrong with my driver side rear tire. Luckily, I took the jack out of the van just before I left. It was bitchin’ hot, but I managed to get the donught out of the trunk and changed the tire in a record ten to fifteen minutes.

I got to the airport and was waiting at the economy parking stall at 4:00 pm. I had 20 minutes to catch a plane. [ click more]

Wait, make that thirty after I checked my schedule. I was in a bit of a panic. I get to the terminal; no waiting. Self check in. Sweet! I was then informed that the flight was delayed an hour. Lucky for me. I grabbed an iced mocha and went through securty to wait for the flight. My 1 ? hour layover in Memphis was more like a pay seven dollars for a sandwich and eat it on the way. I got to the terminal and they just began loading up the plane.

Arrived in Orlando 10:30 eastern time. I got my shuttle arranged and all. I was at the hotel in about 40 minutes. There was a small mixup with the bags, but one of the passengers with my shuttle had my bag and was checking into the same hotel. I gave him the number of the shuttle driver and went on with my bag. My room is nice. Has a little balcony off it. I can see epcot from my balcony. I’m only on the main floor. Kinda disapointing, but hey, I have a balcony. I’m going to walk around a bit later and take some photos, which I’ll post later. This place is amazing from what I’ve seen so far. Stay tuned…
