School starts again…
Well, it’s that not-so-most wonderful time of year, when my wonderful winter break has come to an end. Work started up again on the 3rd of January after a nice week long school closing. To top it off, classes at Washburn start on the 15th, so I’m in a mad dash to get things done at work on time. I haven’t even had time to talk much to friends or update my own website.
Laura is due on the 17th, so I’ll have some additional time off, but it won’t exactly be relaxing. I’ll have homework too, but only for one class, not two.
My regular school at Baker has also begun. It’s a course on PHP. I’m stoked, because my redesign I’m working on will utilize a lot of php. At least I hope. I’m still in the "how do I align these freaking div’s stage" of the redesign. I’m doing totally CSS with standards. I’ve been reading Zeldmans’s book again.
The other day, I beat Half Life 2. It wasn’t as cool as I imagined, but that was to be expected. There was an obvious cliffhanger. I haven’t finished DOOM 3 yet, but I still liked HL2 more than DOOM 3. I’m really anticipating S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
On my third trip to Harrahs for the $40.00 no limit holdem game I finally lost. I got in the game late and didn’t hit any cards. At least I went out on Big Slick. I’m looking forward to avenging my win at the KPC last month.
I’m sure I’ll have more time to do stuff later, as I always say.
Cheers!
